Shipping & Returns
Westside Stores will work hard to get your instock order shipped out of our Salmon Arm, British Columbia location within 3 business days of the purchase being completed.
If you have ordered an item which is currently out of stock, we can place it on backorder for you and ship it as soon as it arrives or have your order cancelled and your money retured to you with in 30 days. We will email you so that you can make the decision on how you would like us to handle the backorder.
Orders will be shipped using Loomis Express or Canada Post and all orders will be shipped requiring a signature and proof of ID on the recipients end to protect both parties from fraud.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Restricted and Non-Restricted firearms can both be shipped within Canada. We will also ship ammunition and reloading components such as primers and powder. These items are deamed as dangerous goods and the shipping fees may be higher than standard due to this classification.
At this time, Westside Stores can only ship within Canada.
Return and Exchange Policy
You may return most new, unopened items with original sales receipt within 30 days of delivery for exchange or a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item).
Items that are returned for exchange or refund must be in their original packaging and in new condition with no signs or being used, worn, washed or stained. Items which show signs of being used will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Some items may not be returned for exchange or refund, these items will include firearms, ammunition, reloading components, under garments, swim wear, jewlery and sleeping bags.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
If products are found to be defective or fail during the manufacturer's warranty period, we will gladly assist you in getting the product repaired or replaced if you require.
All warranties are implied and honored by the manufacturers as stated on the packaging. Westside Stores does not repair or replace items under warranty.
