Derby Rules 1. By entering the Shuswap Lake Derby all participants declare that they have an understanding of all tournament rules and agree to abide by them. 2. You are responsible for your safety and actions at all times before, during and after the Shuswap Lake Fishing Derby. Each entrant, upon registration to fish in the derby, agrees that he / she will not hold the Sponsors or Hosts liable for any kind of accident that might occur during the Shuswap Lake Fishing Derby. 3. Payment can be made in Cash until 4:00pm Friday May 3th, 2018. 4. Registration is valid ONLY after payment is received. 5. All participants must obtain a legal fishing license and are responsible for abiding by all BC fishing and Canadian Coast Guard regulations or may be disqualified. 6. The Shuswap Lake Fishing Derby will commence at 7:30 on Sunday May 5th, 2018 and end at 3pm. Photo confirmation for prize fish must be shown by 3:30pm. Prizes start at 3:45 7. Official Measuring: Once a fish is caught the participant is responsible for radioing ahead (channel 68) or call / text 250.309.1028 in order to record catch. 8. ********ONLY LEGAL SIZE FISH ARE TO BE CALLED IN********** 9. The fish will be measured in INCHES from the tip of the head to the fork in the centre of the tail to the nearest eighth of an inch and will be recorded appropriately. LONGEST fish wins. Photo of fish on a hard ruler that shows the full length of the fish on the ruler is required to qualify for prize. 10. In case of a tie, best 2 out of 3 coin toss rules loser moves to next spot down, derby officials will make the final decision. 11. New Derby Location All prizes will be awarded on Sunday May 5th, 2018 at Old Town Bay Marina, Sicamous. 200 Old Town Road, Sicamous, BC, Canada, V0E 2V4 12. Angler must be present to collect prize 13. Entry Fee $20 per Rod 14. $5 from every entry Fee will be donated to the Kingfisher hatchery. 15. Anglers under the age of 17 will qualify for the Junior prize pool, noted on Entry Form. 16. Anglers must register with Derby official at Old Town Bay Marina Sicamous day of the derby, registration will start at 6:30 – 7:30am. No exceptions 17. *****CASH ONLY**** 5 Registration locations Drop off in person at: Kenkraft or Westside Stores or Boathouse Marine or Seadog Boat Sales or Trout Waters. 18.
